Last Sunday I was hanging out in Santa Monica CA, and randomly I saw Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue sitting on the edge of the sidewalk talking to a friend. I had my Yashica with me and I decided to interrupt their conversation. We talked for a bit; he admired my Yashica, so that made it easy to take a few shots of him. He is a totally cool dude.

What amazing photos you have here and on your website. I just happened to find you via a link on another blog (m.writes) and I so wish I had a wedding coming up in the future. Your pictures are truly captivating. So much so, in fact, that I think I've finally been inspired to take those photography classes I've been dreaming about!
P.S. I used to live in Lake Tahoe and just love the picture you have on your website of the empty lifeguard stand. Is that something that's available for purchase?
