I love my job and I love my clients...
The past couple of weeks I have been really busy and kinda stressed because I'm moving my studio to my new home, and I've been working on getting the scanning and developing rooms all set up while trying to keep up with several projects at the same time, but a few days ago I received an email that made my day. The email was from Heather the bride from the Tucson wedding I shot last month (pictures from that wedding coming very soon!). I recently uploaded the whole event on my proofing site and after she saw the images she sent me this really nice message that I wanted to share with you:
"I just wanted to let you know that I think the pictures are amazing. I cried all morning because I love them that much. In a million years, I never would have dreamed my day could have been captured as beautifully as it has. I feel incredibly blessed to have been able to have you responsible for that. Seriously, thank you so much."
Thanks soooooo much again,
Heather
I'm really blessed to have a job where I can capture people in love, families, friendships, because to me those are the things that matter the most in life. I love photographing weddings and I want to thank all of my clients for trusting me on their important day and making it possible for me to do what I do. Can I say this enough? I Iove my clients :)

Rachel and Grant's wedding (Holga 120S) - Newport Beach/Laguna Beach, California...

I've been wanting to shoot a full wedding with my Holga for a long time so I finally did it! Jonathan Canlas was the main photographer for the event and I was able to shoot Rachel and Grant with my wonderful toy camera. Rachel is an awesome photographer and I met her at the Film Is Not Dead workshop last November in Hawaii. They're such a cool couple! The location for the wedding was just perfect! For those of you who don't know what a Holga is, it's an inexpensive film toy camera with a plastic lens. If you are going to a wedding as a guest soon, I would recommend trying the Holga, I think it can make a fun gift for the bride and groom :)
I can't wait to see the pictures Jon took. Seriously, this wedding was a total blast! Congratulations again guys and have fun in Brazil!
